There's been a lot of work in this one.

Any options you change in the options menu should now be remembered between runs! Toggle fullscreen, set you audio volumes, and the game will keep it the way you want it. 🙂 

There's a bunch of stuff under the hood too: options for managing garbage collection, controller input improvements, etc.

The --no-joystick flag should now disable the joystick module entirely, which should help with stutter on some Linux systems, as a result of the way SDL polls /dev/input on systems with many devices.
